MINDFUL MEETINGS AT CROWNE PLAZA MARLOW
The exceptional new Crowne Plaza Marlow is pleased to announce the launch of our NEW “Mindful Meetings” initiative; IHG’s leading Groups & Meetings recovery plan allowing us to continue to deliver safe and successful meetings to you and your delegates.
Over the last few month, our hotel team have been working implemented revised policies and procedures in regard to our Covid 19 response. These important measures cover all areas of operation, across our hotel property and include the following:
- Social Distancing Protocol / Measures
- Hand sanitising stations throughout the hotel
- All team members wearing masks in line with Government guidelines
- All guests to wear masks in public areas throughout the hotel
- The “IHG Way of Clean” revised procedures for Guestroom and Public area cleaning
- A revised approach to Food & Beverage Service
- Contactless check in and automated invoicing
- Retraining of all employees in relation to the new methods of operation
Set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside, overlooking a private lake, our 168 bedroom property is the ideal location for conferences, meetings, seminars, and social events. Our Meeting and Events space is private from the other areas of the hotel, and provides very generous floor to ceiling dimensions and has floor to ceiling windows (with full blackout facilities). The advantage of our space is that it opens onto front and rear, outdoor terraces, and all of our meeting spaces have windows, which can be opened to allow fresh air to circulate throughout the venue whilst also benefitting from stunning lake views.
Our 11 state-of-the-art meeting rooms offer the latest state of art technology including ceiling-mounted laser projectors and 75” Samsung TV’s with Click-share wireless technology. We have installed a state of the art Cisco Meraki internet infrastructure, which is able to support live streaming as well as a large number of personal devices.
The entire hotel has been the subject of a multi million pound refurbishment programme completed in 2021, with all Guestrooms, Meeting & Event spaces and Public areas now completely new. Our guestrooms offer the latest quiet -mode Daikin environmentally friendly air – conditioning, Bluetooth bedroom door access, USB charging points and the latest Samsung HDDX 49” TV with streaming capability.
We are ideally located within a 15 minute drive from Heathrow Airport with easy access to Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Oxford, and key motorway networks such as M40, M4, M25. We also also within easy reach of London (25 minutes to London Paddington).
